About us.
Mr Michael Wanis is a consultant urological surgeon and andrologist based in Ashtead and Horley, offering specialist care for prostate conditions, kidney stones, male sexual health issues, and blood in the urine. He provides advanced, minimally invasive treatments such as Aquablation and UroLift® across both private hospitals and the NHS.
He qualified from the University of Manchester in 2011, completed specialist urology training in Surrey and Sussex, and became a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons in 2020. He is currently the Urological Cancer Lead and leads the andrology service at Surrey and Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust.
Mr Wanis focuses on clear communication and personalised care, known for his friendly, patient-centred approach. Alongside his UK practice, he is actively involved in global healthcare, research, and medical education.
